Assistant Machine Operator/Warehouse Worker
Job Description:
The Assistant Machine Operator/Warehouse Worker will assist in all aspects of production. Machine set up and monitoring while in production. Cleanup and basic preventative maintenance of the machines. Making sure machines have proper supplies and materials. Works directly with the Printer and Warehouse Supervisor. Includes proper records and log keeping. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include operation of forklift and reach truck, shipping and receiving, as well as light warehouse work as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Keep the press area clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
2. Material Handling:
- Load and unload film rolls, inks, and other materials.
- Ensure that all materials are handled safely and stored properly.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues and improvements.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
